Job Description: We are currently seeking a talented and reliable cook to join our kitchen team at Chestnut Tavern. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong work ethic, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a bar cook, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and cooking food items to order in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
• Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensuring that food storage and handling procedures are followed at all times
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area, including equipment, work surfaces, and utensils
• Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen preferred
• Strong cooking skills and knowledge of basic culinary techniques
